Flagstick

A flagstick, also known as a pin or flagpole, is a long, thin pole that is used on a golf course to indicate the location of the hole. The flagstick typically stands about 5-7 feet tall and is made of fiberglass. At the top of the flagstick is a small flag that can be seen from a distance, making it easy for golfers to locate the hole. The flagstick is typically placed in the cup (the hole) when the golfer is putting, and it is removed when the golfer is hitting from the tee or fairway. Some flagsticks also have a small ring near the top that can be used to hold a flagstick liner, which can be used to indicate wind direction or other information.
